So much has happened since my last blog post! I love it here. I am learning so much and appreciating the people here so much. These last few weeks we've been working a lot with different partners. Last week on Monday we went to help train women on being Financial Education Facilitators. We went to a village and it was so fun. There was a woman there who was 38 and a grandmother! She thought my name was so funny. It was such a cool experience to help the women learn math and be able to keep their own financial diaries.
They had three hammocks outside right by the beach. I spent so much time just chilling on them
I got to hold a little jellyfish
Because of the time and all the things I missed, I will just do brief descriptions of the weekend trips with pictures. On the weekend of Tanner's birthday (one of the guys on my team) we stayed at Safari Lodge at RakiRaki. It is a little private island off of the main island and it was so beautiful!! I couldn't believe it. It's so cool that I get to see so much of Fiji. The first night we got there, the moon was beautiful! That photo was just taken on my camera and it came out so well because the lighting was insane! It was magical. RakiRaki was so amazing.

I also had the opportunity to go to Suva Special school and help the children prepare for their Easter program. It was so adorable. They are very culturally and religiously aware so when they begin class, they say a prayer in English, Fijian and Hindi. The Hindi prayer was so beautiful. It was sort of sung. The kids all said the prayers and it was so awesome to see because most of them are extremely autistic. I don't have any pictures of that though because we can't take pictures of the children without parent permission. Saraswati is barely coming along because the people working there are very hard to get ahold of to meet with so I am just working on the website. It has its own domain name now though! It's www.ssrm-Fiji.org. Hopefully we can meet again and get them to plug in the information needed to fill up the website.

Blue starfish can only be found in the Fiji Islands

The weekend was AMAZING. We went to Moon Reef to go snorkeling and to see spinner dolphins. It was so incredible. They fed us lunch and we got to go see the dolphins on one side of the reef and then go snorkeling on the other side. So many amazing pictures were taken and they are all not edited. It was the most amazing thing to see the underwater world. Breath-taking really. I really loved it and I hope we can go back. Click here to view videos :)

This little Fish kept rubbing against Gabi's leg! It was so funny

Just imagine a pink mermaid tail right under the water
